"I love the simplicity of the site. The shop is spot-on and gives my customers an all round view of my one-off pieces of jewellery and it's so nice to have a shop with my logo that matches the colour and design theme of my website"

This is eight-five.co.uk, a mini letterpress printing studio in the heart of Bristol above the light and airy Makers shop & gallery.

I work using the Adana 8x5 platen press. Its vintage loveliness is hand operated by me to create original cards, prints and stationary.

You can also find me on Facebook and Twitter for my latest creations, news and inspiration.

muntjacpress

www.muntjacpress.org

Muntjac Press began life in Ledbury, Herefordshire, sprouting from a prose salon held in Philip Weaver’s seventeenth century panelled room. It enjoyed a long and circuitous association with Artistree, the visual artist collective. Past collaborations with members include the Herefordshire Kalender.

"I sincerely thank Mog for producing a brilliant website for us. She captured the essence of our style visually and was extremely patient throughout the process. Mog possesses that rare quality of being able to interpret ideas and design on the fly. I found her empathetic approach suited Muntjac perfectly. We look forward to working with her again."  - Guy Malkerson, Publisher

"I offer friendly, fun and informative violin lessons, tailored to suit the needs and interests of the individual. Both adults and children are welcome, beginners through to advanced level. I teach both folk fiddle and classical technique and repertoire, with the student either learning to play by ear or to read music and understand theory. Much attention is given to violin technique alongside the creative and expressive aspects of playing, enabling the student to play with ease and to produce their ideal sound." Jane Harbour

“A charming and individual debut of rare depth. There is a womb-like intimacy to their sound, centred around Crossley’s engaging and darkly humorous lyrics and the delightful cello sparring.”

"Our new website by Ukeydesign enables people to listen album snippets from our featured bands and buy straight from the website"

"Our new website reflects the poetic and literary origins of our music. It brilliantly promotes our new album. We've had a lot of positive feedback."

Every band needs people to know where and when their gigs are! I enabled the band to update the site and add latest videos and reviews. To keep it dynamic I added a live link to Twitter which also helps to bring more traffic to the site.

"Mog is brilliant to work with because she has creative flair and an therefore an ability to tackle a project and problem-solve from different angles. She is diligent, extremely hard working and I highly recommend her work"

Rowena Dugdale designed the visuals for her band website and commissioned Ukeydesign to build it.

"Turn on the TV – youʼll hear a lot of samey wallpaper music and tired samples. I aim to provide something different. Wherever possible I use real, organic, locally sourced instruments and musicians (recorded at my well-equipped home studio running Logic). I then aim for the highest standards of composition, but always in service of whatʼs on screen."

"Nikki started writing poems in 2004 when she lived on a blustery Hebridean Isle. Some of these then made shy appearances in the small press and online and were aired too like knickers on lines among friends... Here then are poems that wink with a surreal and often irresistible glint. Poems about slugs, alien babies, stroppy eggs and pregnant toads. Poems about family, fertility and love."

BCFM Radio 'A Cup of Tea & A Piece of Cake

Sally wanted to display her card range without overcrowding the number of pages. The solution was to create a slideshow gallery to fade between images.

"Ms Fry created a website for me last year along with some hard publicity in the form of leaflets / flyers. The resulting work has helped my business very much. Throughout the process I found Mog to be most accommodating friendly and helpful. She had both the skills and the creative aptitude to help the vision for my publicity realise itself. I recommend her highly. With regards - Philip Ringland - Magician"

Philip wanted something that reflected the sophistication and intrigue of his art as a magician, putting across his unique personality and style. Ukeydesign did this by combining striking photographs and quotations while also making words appear as if by magic!

Paul wanted a minimalist two-page website and for the homepage to contain all his business information without cluttering. I designed text in an accordion style so it looked simple yet expanded to reveal each paragraph when hovering over the headers.
